This is way cuter then my roll up needle holder! I just started knitting again and am working on the basics right now but hoping to get back into the swing of things and try one of your cute patterns!

That’s so cool… I use a little rubbermaid thingy I got in the dollar aisle at Target to store my hooks but recently my 3 & 4 year old have been taking them to use as swords, so I need to find somewhere else to store them!!

  3. 3
    Carol Metcalf says:

I line my hooks up along the top of my laptop.. I really need a storage place so I might be inspired to make one of these!

    Jacqueline Jones says:

I don’t have an awesome way how to store my hooks, lol. I use a $1 store pencil box to store all my hooks in. I am getting to many hooks and will need to find a new way of holding them. This is a great idea! Love it!

  16. 16
    Kelly Wise says:

The best way that I have found so far is to use a small makeup bag. It is one of the small ones that is designed to hold the eye liner pencils so it is small and long. It hold my hooks, needles, and scissors. However, I would love to have a hook roll that can hold my hooks, then I won’t have to go searching for the size I need.

    Melissa says:

This is so awesome!! I have a storage caddy that I bought off Etsy a while back that has a lot of pockets on the outside and is big enough on the inside to have a couple skeins of yarn for my current project. It sits with me on the sofa so I have everything I need BUT my 2 year old thinks my hooks are drumsticks and will sneakily come up and grab them from the pocket so this would be absolutely wonderful so they can keep “hidden” from her hehe 🙂

  36. 36
    Samantha T says:

I keep mine in a coffee mug by my desk, and then when I’m using one for a project it ends up getting stuck in the skein of yarn. Not the best method, I could really use on of these!

I just keep mine in a ziploc freezer bag because every hook holder I’ve ever gotten doesn’t work right. This one looks like it would actually keep them in!

  55. 55

That’s neat!! I definitely need something better! Right now I am using a pouch that is for makeup brushes. I need something more organized so I don’t have to dig through them all. Another cute idea for this would be add another little pouch on the inside for stitch markers. 🙂

  69. 69
    Jill Dupre says:

This is adorable and the red stripes remind me of Christmas candy. I would be honored to own one 🙂

  70. 70
    Debra Miles says:

I use this plastic deal that the top is the same length as the bottom and they make a funny noise when I pull them apart or put them together. They are sort of ribbed so you can extend them as far as you need to. That helps on longer needles and hooks. I got it from my husband. He uses them in his shop. I couldn’t even begin to guess where you would pick them up. Yours is much more attractive and quieter!

  71. 71
    Valerie Eberspacher says:

I just put mine in a jar. Need something to carry them when I am on the move. We are on the road 30 mins in to work each day. I put my yarn in a plastic grocery bag and stick a needle in there. I need HELP! Thanks ever so much for all you do!

  76. 76
    Tammy Hempel says:

Hi I just use bag to hold all my hooks in at this time as it is the only way I have to store them. Once my kids grow up and move out of the house I will have to find a better way. This is sure a really really cool idea. 🙂 And one I will have to consider trying to make some day if I don’t win that is.

  77. 77
    Sara says:

It’s so perfect! Pick me. 🙂

  78. 78

I use a Eye Glass Case that is plastic works great. I use to use a Cosmetic Bag with a zipper A friend of mine uses a small pencil box.

So many ways to store them The eye glass case fits right in yur purse and holds about 15 crochet hooks.
